I just watched the new South Park episode – Pandemic – it was awesome! I’m so relieved lol I seriously feared for the future of South Park. But this episode is just so completely random and ridiculous it’s beautiful. And it takes the piss out of Cloverfield, which is good because I really hated that movie xD
It’s probably an extremely common saying, but it still amuses me that characters in Shoebox, Dexter, and Twilight all claim to be Switzerland during a conflict.

I think South Park may have jumped the shark, which is sad. The latest episode is okay, a lot better than the last one, but it just lacks the awesomeness it used to have. I was expecting a twist at the end, which could actually be a product of watching too much Dexter, but still, it was way to predictable.
None of the episodes this season have been very good, actually. Eek, a Penis! had some incredibly funny moments and I enjoyed Canada on Strike, but they’re nothing compared to the old episodes. They just don’t make things like Casa Bonita or Scott Tenorman Must Die anymore. Hopefully the next episode is better?
In other news, I watched one of the new Family Guy episodes, I Dream of Jesus, last night, and it was hilarious. I usually like South Park better than Family Guy, but this episode made all the new South Parks look even more like crap lol. The entire show is just based around the song Surfin’ Bird by the Trashmen, it kicks ass ahahaha.
Peter: Brian can I see that paper for a sec? Huh, that’s odd, I thought that would be big news.
Brian: You thought what would be big news?
Peter: There seems to be an absence of a certain ornithological piece. A headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian variety.
Brian: What are you talking about?
Peter: Oh, haven’t you heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard.
I love Dexter. I’d never watched a single episode and now in the last five days I’ve watched the whole first and second seasons – the entire second season in one day. Love it!
It’s just one of those shows where you’re sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time, and there are so many crazy little twists that just make you go WHOA! I won’t post any spoilers, but anybody who’s watched the show knows what I’m talking about. It’s the kind of show you need to watch with other people so you can keep going OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE THAT xD
The guy who plays Dexter, who’s name I do not know, is really good at being expressive without overdoing it – he can convey so much just by doing one little thing with his eyes or his mouth, it’s brilliant. And he has pretty eyes and is cute as hell, which also helps. Bwaha.
Anyway. Definitely recommend the show to anybody, it’s pure awesomeness. And not even all that gory, considering lol.
I was reading the newspaper and found this article, and was absolutely horrified by the comments people had written.
The article refers to a case in which an Aboriginal woman suffering from depression (post traumatic stress syndrome among other things) threw a clothes rack accross the room in a fit of rage during a fight with her son. She didn’t realise that her grandson was in the room, and the rack hit him in the head and caused severe brain damage. I’ll be the first to admit that that is seriously fucked up, from all angles.
But the comments people were writing!
What the fuck is that? Her ethnicity has nothing to do with anything, I find it disgusting that that is the first thing people latch on to when they read an article like this. I can say with great confidence that the verdict would have come out the same way if the woman had been white – it was based around the fact that she is mentally ill after having a very traumatic life, which is demonstrated very clearly throughout the article. What the fuck. Some people are just ignorant.
The best part? When I posted my reply, I was greeted with a message saying:

So how the hell did that crap get through to being published? I am disgusted. Excuse my excessive swearing in this post, but I just can’t help it. My God.
It looks pretty awesome, I must say. I really like the bit of them walking around at school and everybody staring at them oddly haha.
Apparently it will be coming out in Australia on the 11th and in Singapore on the 18th of December, which is good – usually it takes a lot longer than that for movies to reach us lol. Can’t wait!
New episode of South Park came out today – pretty disappointing. I’m a big fan of South Park, I’ve seen every episode like fifty million times lol but this one just wasn’t good. Spoilers ahead so watch out!
I dunno, the whole thing just seemed to me like they were trying way too hard to be ‘edgy’. The constant flashbacks to the ‘rape’ were over-done, I know the whole point of South Park is that it’s supposed to be in bad taste lol but they showed the same basic thing three or four times? And the thing with China taking over the world could have been a major plot – there should have been a whole episode dedicated to it, as it was it just seemed kind of watered down, like an afterthought. Also, what happened to Kenny?
Only good thing was all the Stan/Kyle moments that made me lol xD in the scene when they’re talking about how they “can’t just forget what happened”, I seriously thought it was going to be something like that HAHA. Clearly been reading too much slash.
Oh, and the getting shot in the dick thing was pretty funny, too.
I found this pic of the Cullen’s house in the Twilight movie – it’s exactly the way I pictured it! I mean, I suppose the book must have been fairly specific for me to get the exact right picture in my head lol but still. Usually movie things aren’t that good o_O
You know what I miss? I miss staying up late playing the Sims 2 and listening to the Jimbob rant at 3am.
I am in love with this song, Rooftops by Lostprophets. The words are fairly repetitive, and I’m no doubt going to overplay it and never be able to listen to it again, but at the moment it’s just awesome. I know it’s not really the point of the song, but I love going to concerts and just screaming my head off. It’s the best. After Singfest last year – two days of non-stop concerts – I felt deprived for days afterwards because I couldn’t yell anymore.
