Hmm. I suppose I just have difficulty relating to her character because I’ve moved lots and never had anything like that happen! Haha. I always have strong ties to the places I left behind, even if I change alot through new things.

I couldn’t disagree more about Bella. Maybe it’s because I relate to her so much. I too have moved, on more than one occassion in my case, and completely left my past behind. I too am awkward when it comes to people, social events, and receiving presents, and compliments for that matter. I’m not nearly so clumsy, but I do have my moments. Mostly I can really relate because of a personal experience in which it seemed that my whole life had lead to and prepared me for that one moment, and when it was over I was transformed. I was still myself, yet a new and improved version of myself, having come through a sort of emotional crucible.

I look at Bella as always having been meant for life as a vampire. Unfortunately I don’t have time to go into it all here, but you can read some of it on my Twilight page, if you like.
